Cloudshim provides in-depth analytics for your AWS resources, regions, tags & cost categories. In the analytics screen, you'll be able to see related costs from every integrated account and region.
You can navigate between multiple accounts. This dashboard is used for tracking your costs and their trends, which enable you to identify cost culprits and avoid bill surprise. Further, it covers a summary of potential cost savings.
With the overview, you can identify account-resource trends and the % increase over selected periods.
With the trends, you can view the historical cost to spot the anomalies and identify top spenders and savers across your account, region & resources.
With the Top 10 Bubble charts, you can gain insights into your most expensive regions, resources, instance types, and tags.
Cloudshim is built on your AWS Cost & Usage Report. Once you onboard, AWS publishes this report with data for the current month onwards. E.g., If you onboard on Oct-15, you will see historic data till Oct-01.
As a best practice, only onboard the payer Cost account for an organization. In cases where the parent account, and the child account's Cost component, are onboarded, AWS publishes the CUR data at random times during the day.
